Lawyer's Fees

Our fee for each case is determined in accordance with the Finnish Bar Association's grounds for fees, on the basis of the amount and nature of the work as well as the value and importance of the benefits at issue.

For the most part, our fee is determined in accordance with the time devoted to the tasks that the case demands. Our normal hourly rate is EUR 200, but can range from EUR 110 to EUR 250.

If separately agreed, or if it is to be considered appropriate under the circumstances, we may require an advance payment for costs and/or fees, either upon commencing the case or during its course.

Direct costs stemming from the case, such as charges for documents, charges levied by official authorities, copying expenses, travel expenses and the like are charged separately.

Value-added tax conforming with the prevailing tax rate is added to all fees and taxable costs, which include travel and copying expenses, among other things.

For an initial consultation that does not lead to our taking the case, we do not charge any fee at all.
